Grief & loss

Walking with you through loss, your way and at your pace.

Losing someone — or something important: a relationship, a project, your health — hurts in a way that can be hard to bear alone. There's no «right» way to grieve and no set timeline. My job is to be with you so you can give space to what you feel without staying trapped in it.

Signs it can help you

  • Pain that gives no respite or comes in waves
  • Guilt, anger or unanswered questions
  • Difficulty returning to daily life
  • Emptiness or feeling no one understands

How I work on this

From warm, respectful humanistic support, I help you process the loss, honour the bond and rebuild a meaningful daily life.

What the process includes

  • A space to express yourself without rush or judgement
  • Work on guilt and unfinished business
  • Rituals and resources to rediscover meaning

Frequently asked questions

When is it advisable to seek help for grief?
Grief is a natural process that takes time, and feeling pain, sadness or anger is part of it. It is a good idea to seek help when the suffering drags on, blocks you or prevents you from gradually returning to your life, or when you feel you cannot carry it alone. In our first contact we assess together how you are experiencing this loss.
Will therapy make me forget the person or what I have lost?
Not at all. The goal is not to forget, but to find a way to keep living with that bond integrated in a different way, so the memory can find its place with less pain. We support your process while always honoring what that loss means to you.
I lost someone quite a while ago but I still feel bad, is that normal?
Grief does not follow a fixed timeline and everyone experiences it in their own way and at their own pace. Still feeling pain long afterward does not mean you are doing it wrong, though if you feel stuck or unable to move forward, therapy can help set that process in motion. You are always in time to ask for support when you need it.
Can grief therapy address losses other than a death?
Yes. Grief also arises with breakups, loss of health, major life changes, a job or a project that comes to an end. Any loss that is significant to you can be supported in therapy, because what matters is the impact it has on your life, not only its cause.
How much do grief support sessions cost?
Fees are discussed with no obligation during the first contact, where we can also answer your questions about how we work. That way you can decide calmly and at your own pace whether you want to begin this support.
