Psychology for teens

A space of their own for a stage that isn't easy.

Adolescence is a stage of great change and, sometimes, a lot of silent distress. Anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, social media, mood swings or conflict at home. I offer teens a space of trust where they feel heard without feeling judged, and families guidance to support them better.

Signs it can help you

  • Anxiety, sadness or sudden mood swings
  • Self-esteem or body-image struggles
  • Isolation, family or school conflict
  • Problematic use of screens and social media

How I work on this

A close, respectful therapeutic bond, adapted to their language, with the confidentiality they need and coordination with the family.

What the process includes

  • A confidential, non-judgemental space for the teen
  • Tools for anxiety, self-esteem and relationships
  • Guidance for families

Frequently asked questions

My teenager doesn't want to go to therapy, what can I do?
It is very common for there to be reluctance at first, and that is part of the process. There is no need to force anything: in the early sessions we take time to build a bond of trust where the teenager feels heard and free of judgement. Often, when they sense that space is truly theirs, the initial resistance turns into involvement.
Will you tell me what they share in the sessions?
Confidentiality is key for a teenager to truly open up, so their privacy is looked after with special care. We will share with you what is needed to accompany and guide you, without betraying that trust. There is only one exception: if we detect a situation of real risk to their safety, we will let you know.
What difficulties can therapy with teenagers help with?
We accompany with anxiety, mood changes, self-esteem, family conflicts, relationships, academic pressure or difficulties with identity, among others. Adolescence is a stage of many changes, and having a space of their own helps them move through it with more resources. Each process is adapted to what each person needs.
How does the family take part in the process?
The family is an important part of the support, which is why we hold follow-up meetings to give you strategies and work together. At the same time, we respect that the teenager has their own space of trust. We look for a balance between involving you and caring for their autonomy.
How much do the sessions cost?
Prices can be discussed with no obligation at all, so you can write or call us whenever you like. We will explain the fees and how we plan the process for each case. The priority is for the teenager to receive the support they need.
